F. Phillip Krueger

F. Phillip Krueger brings a unique and powerful perspective to criminal defense - one that can only come from having spent years on the other side of the courtroom. As a former prosecutor for the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, San Joaquin County, and the Calaveras County District Attorney's Office, Phillip knows firsthand how prosecutors build their cases, what evidence they rely on, and where the weaknesses lie. That insider knowledge is something he now puts entirely to work for his clients.

Phillip's foundation as an advocate was built long before law school. A nationally ranked debater in both high school and college, he developed the sharp analytical thinking and persuasive communication skills that define his courtroom presence today. He went on to graduate cum laude with his Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law in 2011 - one of the nation's top law schools for litigation and public interest law.

After graduating, Phillip began his legal career at the San Francisco District Attorney's Office before moving on to prosecute cases for San Joaquin County. During that time he also served as an adjunct professor at St. Mary's College in Moraga, California, teaching Forensics. In 2016 he became Deputy District Attorney for Calaveras County, where he continued to successfully prosecute criminal cases across a wide range of charges.

With more than a decade of legal experience spanning both prosecution and defense, Phillip made the transition to private practice with a clear mission - to use everything he learned as a prosecutor to fight for those who need it most. He now represents clients across the greater San Francisco Bay Area and San Joaquin Valley, handling cases involving DUI, drug crimes, assault, violent crimes, theft, sex crimes, federal charges, and more. His approach is aggressive, strategic, and rooted in a deep understanding of how the system works from the inside out.

Beyond the courtroom, Phillip is deeply committed to the Manteca community. He volunteers with the Boy Scouts, coaches youth baseball, and serves as a Legal Advisor for New Genesis Housing Development, a local non-profit. He approaches every client relationship with the same respect, transparency, and dedication he brings to everything he does - treating each case as if it were his own.
